Evening Bible School (EBS) is our multi-year program to teach children bible stories as young as birth to 6th grade. Parents of children under 3 will be required to attend in order to help care for their child/ren. EBS is similar to Vacation Bible School (VBS). We will have snacks, play games, make crafts, learn songs, do activities, learn bible verses, and write and draw cards to our shut-ins and nursing homes.
We kicked off our multi-year Evening Bible School (EBS) program October 16th. The children started learning The Butterfly Song, an interactive song with lots of movement. The children got their bibles and binders. All read aloud the creation story. Their memory work is 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth' (Genesis 1:1).
Every month we are celebrating baptismal birthdays. We had one baptismal birthday in October. We sang to her and she got to blow out a candle.
The children got snacks to eat while they worked on decorating their canvas bags. They can pick up their bags after Sunday's service. The bags are to carry their bibles and binders.
EBS will meet the 3rd Sunday of every month. Our next EBS is November 20th. If you did not get registered, don't worry, just come and learn with us.
