We all have talents that we have been given, and Trinity's team is no exception. There are many ways for you to serve and support the church.
"Hark the voice of Jesus calling, "Who will go and work today?"...Who will answer gladly saying, "Here am I, send me, send me"?"
Our Ushers, Greeters, Altar Guild, Choir, and Special Musicians use their time and talents in service to Trinity. Can you give of your time and talents and say: "Here and I, send me"?
- Our Greeters rotate through members of the congregation. Their job is to welcome you to worship, and help direct visitors to the guest book. If you are visiting, they can help assist you with questions about Trinity or point you to someone who can help you. If you are interested in greeting, you can contact the church or speak to a member of the Evangelism Committee.
- Directing traffic in our sanctuary is one of our Ushers jobs. They will make sure you have a bulletin and any other handouts. They can help you find restrooms, a seat in a pew, an Elder, or even Pastor Mike. During worship they collect offerings and direct traffic for Communion. They can also hand deliver a prayer request to Pastor. Ushers are organized into teams, but they are willing to be flexible if you need to trade Sundays. If you are interested in ushering, you can contact the church or speak to an usher.
- Making sure the altar area is ready for church takes members who are willing to serve. The Altar Guild is responsible for changing the paraments for the changing church year. They refill our oil candles and make sure that flowers for the altar are placed and cared for so they can beautify the Lord's House again. They also aid the Elders in cleaning the Communion rail after celebrating the Lord's Supper. The Altar Guild is organized into teams, but are willing to be flexible if you need to trade Sundays. If you are interested in assisting the guild, you can contact the church or speak to a member of the Altar Guild or Ladies Aid.
Choir and Special Music
- Trinity is very proud of the contributions of our choir and musicians that provide special music. To God be the Glory! Members wear many hats on Trinity's Team, and our choir is no different. John Tolson is the director and his wife Marva Tolson provides accompaniment. The choir is always happy to welcome members! If you would like to join, you can contact the church or speak to any of the members of our joyful choir. Special music is a wonderful addition to services, and our Team has soloists, ensembles, youth and adult pianist, and youth and adult instrumentalists. If you are interested in providing special music, contact the church or Marva Tolson.
